Sims GP3 Victory

Alexander Sims began his debut GP3 season with an excellant lights to chequered flag victory in Istanbul, Turkey this weekend.

It was an impressive display of skill, discipline and physical and mental toughness as Alexander had to recover from a grid-penalty the previous day that saw him relinquish second place for the first race of the weekend. He is in the best physical and mental shape since we began working together in 2007 while he was in Formula Renault. All the pieces of the jigsaw are in place for him to have a strong season. Let’s see what 2011 brings.

Nick Yelloly had a very solid start to his debut season. The 19 year old, who drove in Formula Renault UK last season, recovered from a tough qualifying session to finish 13th and 11th in the two races. Nick has come on hugely since we began working together towards the end of 2010. He is now much tougher in body and mind, and though the process continues, his physical conditioning is shaping up very nicely indeed and he is developing into a leaner, stronger, more-rounded athlete.
